This was a really easy outfit to put together while I was feeling under the weather. No colour matching to do and no shapes to question whether they were complimentary to my figure. This blouse is a great piece. As you can see it has a slight puff at the shoulder and faux pocket detailing at the bust. It also has black buttons down the back, however when I got home that evening I wanted nothing more than to jump into my PJ's and taking a picture of the back was the last thing on my mind.
As you probably have noticed this black skirt has become a staple in my work wardrobe. I love that the material has a slight sheen to it. It adds visual interest, but is more subtle and practical for everyday unlike sparkles (however we all know that I believe every day should have a small dose of sparkle). I also love that it has the cute little bow tie at the waist.
To finish the look I added a chunky black and white necklace to keep with the outfits colour scheme. Because I was wearing my hair up that day I chose to wear my Tiffany glasses. For some reason I love the look of them with my hair in a bun and my bangs down. Perhaps it just further enhances the 50's secretary feel that the glasses already have.
Hope no one has gotten sick since my last post!
