I started my hunt for the perfect Christmas outfit months ago (to be honest the hunt is never truly off, there is always next year!).

My motto for the holidays is sparkle sparkle sparkle because it is the one time of year that sparkle and glitter are acceptable in large doses. When I found the Calvin Klein tank on sale at The Bay I knew it would be the perfect start to my outfit for the ballet. I then began to envision what I wanted the rest of the outfit to look like. The black stilettos I had bought in August during final clearance at Marshall's. At that price I feel like I literally stole these shoes and I knew they would be perfect with my gold top. The skirt however was a struggle to find. I managed to snag this skirt at Smart Set and it was exactly what I had envisioned.

The next outfit I wore to my staff Christmas party. The blue dress I bought with it in mind for a summer wedding. However I realized that it would be perfect paired with gold accessories! I could also rewear the shoes that I had wore to the ballet which would help keep cost down.
