Going home for the holidays can always be a cause of stress. What to pack, what your going to wear, and what former classmates/ex boyfriend will you potentially run into are all thought that I am sure run through peoples heads while packing. I was only at my parents house for a few days during the holiday and wanted to pack light. When traveling you can never go wrong with a dark pair of jeans. My go to are dark wash skinnies. They can be dressed up or down and do not wrinkle when packed into a suitcase or duffle bag. Although most cotton blouses wrinkle they are another great thing to pack (and I don't know too many moms who do not have an iron). A blouse can instantly take a pair of jeans from casual to polished. A coloured blazer adds warmth and also doubles as a great statement maker. Finally a comfortable pair of shoes, like these black ankle boots and a roomie tote easily get you through travel days and keep you looking chic while visiting friends and family.
