Hot Days, Cool Nights

Any one living by the ocean knows that during the day it can get hot, but as soon as the sun starts to set it can get pretty cool, especially if you are down by the harbour. These next two outfits are ones that I wore while out for a stroll along the inner harbour. It can get quite cool down there with the wind off the water so I wanted to make sure that my shoulders were at least covered for a little added warmth.

Stripped Peplum Top - Forever 21

Red Shorts - Walmart

Black and Gold Strappy Sandals - Target (July Find)

DKNY Sunglasses - Winners

White and Tan Dooney and Bourkes Bag - Marshalls (July Find)

This first look has a slight nautical feel with the black and white stripes and red shorts. This shirt is both cute and light weight while covering my shoulders for added warmth. And of course my current two obsessions right now my Dooney bag and strappy black sandals were a must to complete this outfit.

Yellow Nordstrom Blazer - Value Village (June Find)

White Chiffon Tank Top - Rickis

Navy Blue Shorts - H&M

White and Green Sandals - Shoe Warehouse

Silver Feather Necklace - Old Navy

This particular evening I went for a walk and then went out for drinks. I wanted to be able to walk comfortable (so that crossed heels off the shoe list) and decided to go with these fun lime green and white sandals. The yellow blazer adds both warmth and an additional pop of colour to the otherwise neutral outfit.
