As you may have noticed, in the last post the photos were slightly blurry. After lots of manual reading and many google searches later, I happened to stubble across a camera shop while out for dinner down town. As usual by the time I took the camera to the shop it was working perfectly once again. So with out further a due here are some in focus shots of the photo shoot that I did with a fellow blogger.

Kenneth Cole Teal Blazer - Winners

White Silk Shell - Rickis

Black Skinny Leg Trouser - Reitmans

Magenta Flats - Gap

Gold Triangle Necklace - Ardene (June Find)

This outfit was one that I wore to work a few weeks ago. I loved the pop of teal and magenta together. The layered cuts on the blazer add visual interest to the other wise simple silhouette. The Starbucks passion tea lemonade of course completes my outfit as it ties in nicely with the colour of my shoes (also satisfying my daily addiction).

Black and White Embellished Strip Tee Shirt - Reitmans

Black Leather Pencil Skirt - Reitmans

Red Flats - Value Village (June Find)

While writing this post my boyfriend look over my shoulder and made the comment that the outfit and background made him think of Paris. Unfortunately this was not shot in Paris, but hopefully one day I will be able to do a shoot amongst the twinkling Paris lights. I loved the simple elegance of a stripped tee shirt and pencil skirt, but wanted to take the basics up a notch. By combining a embellished tee shirt (what's easier than built in jewelry?) and a leather pencil skirt gave it some added edge and sparkle.

Pink Ralph Lauren Sleeveless Polo - Marshalls

White Eyelet Shorts - Gap

Black and Gold Sandals - Target

White Physio Tape - Walmart

As you may have noticed, there is a recent addition to my outfits. The white physio tape is due to a recent injury (hopefully we'll find out what is wrong soon). The pink polo and white shorts had a clean and classic vibe that was irresistible to me. I choose to tuck in the polo to make the look even preppier. This look is golf course ready as well if you paired it with golf shoes.
