Hope everyone has managed to stay cool in the heat wave we have been experiencing. Although it has been 30 celsius here the wind has been really cold coming off the water. This hot cold mix has made it really difficult to try and get dressed in the morning. Trying not to die of heat but also trying to make sure you don't freeze as proven to be a bit of a challenge.

This blouse from the Gap has become one of summer favourites. Its light weight material and colour make it ideal for keeping covered in the heat. It is also flowy which gives it an airy laid-back vibe. My high waisted Gap jean shorts are also on major repeat this summer. In hind sight I should have bought them in two washes because I wear them whenever I am not at work. Finally to finish the look I chose my boat shoes and my Ivanka Trump tote. These pieces I though added the right amount of sophistication to an otherwise basic outfit.
