Well unlike last week, the rain has arrived this week much to my dismay. But it finally gives me a chance to wear all the cute things that I got for cooler weather. This look for some reason has a nautical feel. Not sure quite what it is, perhaps the navy peacoat and the yellow cable knit sweater together bring out my inner sailor (now all I need is the hat).

That being said it was a great outfit for todays rainy weather. The jacket kept the rain off me but is a stylish alternative to a rain jacket, but a more interesting option than the classic trench. The yellow sweater added both warmth and a great pop of colour. Nothing says fall like golden yellow. These loafers might just be my new obsession. The are made with Nike air soles, and it is literally like walking on a cloud. They are also great for keeping your feet dry too because they are patent leather. I think this outfit or variations of it, will definitely be on repeat this fall.
