While the weather was cold last week I took advantage of being able to wear this fantastic plaid jacket from American Eagle. I got it several years ago when I moved to Alberta and now that I am back in BC it is rare that it is cold enough to wear it. Another great thing that I took advantage of on this day was the fact that it was dry. Winters here are pretty wet so the cold weather is greatly welcomed so that I can wear flats.These loafers I thought added a preppy pop of colour to the outfit while I was inside and with out the plaid jacket. Loafers are currently my obsession, and if I wasn't limited by budget, wet weather, and limited closet space I would probably own a 100 pairs. Finally this Karen Scott cable knit pull over was a great score at the recent Value Village 50% off sale. It is 100% cotton which seems to be really hard to find in stores now. I also was attracted to it for is preppiness. If you haven't already noticed I am drawn to all things country and yacht club ready.
