I cannot believe that October is already here! Fall is an exciting to me. I love all the rich colours and the season tends to feel very preppy to me. Perhaps it is because I am constantly in the library and lugging books around now that I am back at school. I love to pair sweaters and collard bloused together. To me it doesn't get much preppier than that. I find it too warm with a full length blouse though because it stays fairly mild on the west coast, so I use collard sleeveless blouses. This way I can still achieve the desired look with out over heating during the day.

To complete my preppy look I added the gold chain under the collar to dress up the basic look. The red bag adds a cheer splash of colour, and coincidentally matches my lipstick (Dolce and Gabbana, it is heavenly). Finally no preppy outfit is complete with out loafers from the ultra preppy label Lauren by Ralph Lauren.
