This last weekend we had a major heat wave. On Sunday it reached a high of 21 Celsius, which is crazy warm for here in the middle of October. This warm weather saw the revival of shorts and t shirts by many people (myself included). Unfortunately on Sunday I was not able to take part in the beautiful weather because I had to work. However I took advantage of the warm weather by wearing a more summery ensemble.

I chose to start with my silk joggers and added the dress shirt for a more polished and work appropriate look. The white blazer I thought, made the whole look light and airy. Of course I also took advantage of the warm weather by breaking out my favourite pair of sandals one last time this season.

Unfortunately as you may have noticed from Monday and Tuesday's outfit the summery weather didn't stick around. We are back to our usual fall weather here on the west coast.
