Travel Day!! They're always my favourite because that means you're going on some kind of adventure. Although this adventure was a short one night trip to Vancouver for the Nicki Minaj concert (which was great by the way), it still required strategic packing, and comfortable clothing. To keep the cost down, the girls and I walked on the ferry and took transit downtown. This meant that what every we were bringing had to be carried. This was probably best to avoid the classic travelling woman syndrome, as I like to call. Travelling woman syndrome is our attempt to pack our entire closet for a weekend trip, because you never know when you might need a cocktail dress while in the mountains, right!

Since there was going to be lost of walking involved I decide to wear sneakers. I am usually not one to wear sneaker but they are really starting to grow on me, especially with these high waisted denim shorts that I have been wearing on repeat this summer as many of you may have noticed. I tucked the tank into the high waisted shorts as well. Although I was 7 when the 90's ended it makes me think of somehing my mom would have worn in the 90's while chasing after my brother's and me.
