As many of you know being a student can result in summers consumed with work. Currently most of my time is spent at the optometry clinic (which is not a bad thing), therefore my outfits lately have been oriented more towards business chic than causal.

The weather here has been really odd lately. One day it will be 30 degrees and the next day it will be cloudy and 20 degrees. This outfit was for one of the cooler days. I chose basic neutrals so that the blazer would stand out. The gold necklace and patent shoes add visual interest to an otherwise simple outfit.

For this outfit I wanted a totally neutral and simple backdrop to show case my new necklace (my grandma has great taste doesn't she!). Luckily it was very warm that day and it was warm enough to wear the sleeveless dress without a cardigan. I added the pastel blue tote to keep with the theme of the otherwise neutral outfit.
