So this week the on the island we are experiencing a major winter cold front. It has actually gone below zero several times in the last week, which is pretty unusual for the West Coast. Not that I mind, because if its that cold it means it isn't raining and I can wear all my beautiful coats and shoes that I can't wearing while it is raining.

I love this RW&CO coat. It has a classic black and white tweed pattern, but has a glittery thread woven in which adds a subtle sparkle to the jacket (and I mean what girl doesn't love a sparkly coat). This faux fur vest is also becoming a favourite this season. Not only is it warm, it makes a basic tee and jeans combo feel glamorous. I finally wore my red booties too. I was always so hesitant whenever I would put them on, but I decided to commit to them. I was so glad I just bite the bullet because they are so comfortable. They have a wedged heel so they give some height but are still easy and comfortable to get around in. Not to mention their unique colour scored me a bunch of compliments.
