Merry (late) Christmas everyone. Hope Santa was very good to everyone. Christmas is such a busy day that of course there is lots of time to have more than one outfit. Christmas to me and my family is all about hanging out with each other and being comfy and cozy. For brunch and gift opening I wanted something cozy to keep me warm, but also comfy for sitting on the hardwood floors in the living room. These socks are a little bit of new obsession. I bought them back when I lived in Alberta and recently discovered them in my sock drawer again. They are so cozy and warm, but not bulky like a traditional wool sock.

Later for dinner everyone changed into something a little more dinner appropriate. I chose this very bright and festive sweater. It is a slightly less tacky version of the traditional ugly christmas sweater. That and how could I pass up anything Ralph Lauren. To keep things low key and comfortable I paired it with a super stretchy pair of jeans that would easily expand with me as we enjoyed Christmas dinner together.
