I Think I Was a 60's Housewife in Another Life

The big joke at work is that I am a 50's - 60's reincarnated housewife. I am always in full skirts, fit and flare dresses, or sheath dresses. I have realized that I kind of enjoy my title, sets me apart from all the other young woman trying to stand out in a university town.

Yesterday however I think I really played it but by teasing my hair and adding a matching head band to the look. I usually don't do much to my hair in the morning but I really like this look, so I definitely think it will be repeated in the near future. Other than the effort I put into my hair, the outfit itself was super simple. All I had to do was throw this dress on (it is basically like wearing a big sweatshirt), choose my grey kitten heels. I actually haven't worn these shoes in probably two years, but I hate to throw anything out. Back in high school, yes I have had them that long, I used to wear them a lot. I usually wear grey flats with this dress but decided to change it up and wear a shoe that I haven't worn in awhile.
