Inspired Look - Silky Pants for Winter (Furry Florals)

I got the inspiration for this outfit from the above clipping from one of my People Style Watch issues. I liked how she combined the silky pants with a chunky knit to winterize the otherwise summer pants. I thought my floral pants would be a perfect candidate to use to recreate a similar look. I think the sweater and the pants play well together and let the pants really pop. Next I added the metallic shoe to add a little shine to the outfit. Finally on my way out the door I though 'hey why not add a little faux fur while were at it'. At first I was a little unsure of the faux fur vest with the floral pants, but I think it really payed off and made or a visually interesting outfit. I will admit adding the faux fur felt risky to me. I feel like I tend not to take many fashion risks and play it fairly safe. However I really loved this outfit so I might be taking some more fashion risks in the near future.
