I know I promised no more preppy school girl outfits but I can't help myself. Its like I have some weird Freudian complex for preppiness. Either way I love this Lord and Taylor dress from Hudson's Bay. There is a good chance that I have been stalking the dress since September when I first saw it in stores waiting for it to be heavily discounted. Finally it went down to something crazy like $20 and I couldn't resist.

To play up the white window pane pattern I opted to layer a white dress shirt underneath. Not only is it a great way to add some warmth but it also adds character to an otherwise standard dress. To finish off the look I chose two of my favourite bowed items, my grey heels, and nude tote.
