Taking a Denim Dress into Fall

Sweater - Value Village/ Dress- Old Navy (April Finds)/ Ivanka Trump Tote - Value Village/ Flats-Gap

It's transition season. This time of year is always hard to dress for, especially this year with all the unseasonably warm weather we have been having on the West Coast. This outfit was perfect for the weather we had that day. The mornings and evenings are chill, but during the day it gets quite warm. I really liked how the collar of the dress laid on top of the sweater, I thought it was nice preppy touch to the outfit. I chose to do brown accessories with this outfit because the sweater is actually navy. Although I do like navy and black together, I find that sometimes it appears like you thought they were the same colour, but they don't quite match.
