Well as many of you know the west coast has been drowning in tons of rain last week. One of the biggest challenges with the fall and winter out here is trying to stay stylish while still keeping dry and warm. All though this can be a challenge I have found that investing in durable and water resistant outerwear is key. My Helly Hansen jacket was a total score from Sport Check in February. I love the navy trench style with the pink polka dots. Having a longer fitting jacket not only keeps more of you dry but dresses up an otherwise sport west coast essential. Then in March I was lucky enough to find these Hunters at Hudson's Bay. I was a little too excited when I realized that the pinks matched.

At first when purchasing the Hunters I really debated wether or not the bright pink was a good option, considering they are so expensive. I quickly realized that I have never been one to get a neutral colour and look like everyone else, so pink was a no brainer. Besides with all this gloomy weather we get here through out the fall and winter, we could all use a bright pop of colour.
