Guess who received an early Christmas gift this year? This gal did, in the form of strep throat. I'm not usually one to get a sore throat but this one was sore down into my neck. However it was not the worst pain I had ever experienced. Either way I decided I should go to the doctor as I knew I had had a fever for the past two days. The doctor took on look at my throat and sent me to work with a note saying that I couldn't work the next two days as I was very contagious (which were my last two shifts before Christmas holidays). So my lovely younger brother came to pick me up yesterday so that I could spend an extra two days with the family.

As terrible as strep throat can be for some I actually feel pretty decent, although Sunday I was pretty sick. Since I didn't feel like I was dying I didn't want to look like I was dying, but wanted to be comfy as it is a three hour drive from my house to my parents.

To maximize comfort I choose my go to leggings and Nike Runners. I totally didn't feel like dealing with my hair so I opted for a ball cap. To keep the look some what cheery I added my favourite sweater. The colour instantly brings joy to any outfits.

Since I'm off for the next week I plan to get caught up on most of if not all of my posts plus the new Holiday ones. Stay tuned,
