Peplum Top - Reitmans (Cheap Chic Finds)/ Anchor Shorts - Old Navy (Cheap Chic Finds)/ Bag - Value Village/ Shoes - Value Village
Today was a day filled with running around town. I had to return my parking pass for work as I am now back to taking the bus. I then headed over to Tillicum mall to return a few things. I definitly missing borrowing a car as it means that errands now take twice as long as they used too. However it is sometimes nice to be able to just space out on the bus to some good music.
As much as I love these gold shoes they have definitly had their struggles. The first time I worn them the sole of the shoe became unglued. So I got out the contact cement and glued it back on. The second time I worn them, three of the four straps beaded applica came unglued from the strap. I ended up taping them while at work that day so that I didn't have these big beaded flaps flying around. I went home and contact cemented those down as well. I have been wearing them for probably a month and a half now with no problems. However today, sure enough the fourth strap came undone. So currently it is sitting underneath my box of nail polish with contact cement on it.
Now to the main event. The outfit. I probably wouldn't have paired this top and short combo together had I not put it together in my flat lay for my Cheap Chic Finds. I had all my things laid out and was trying to figure out what to pair and photograph with what. by chance the top and bottoms ended up in the pile together and I decided that I really liked the mixed prints together.
Although I am Canadian my outfit today ended up looking rather patriotic for Independence Day in the States.
Hope everyone had a great day,
Jade
