Dorothy Meets Vogue

Jump Suit - Old Navy (Cheap Chic Finds)/ Blouse - Old Navy/ Bag - Value Village/ Shoes - Hudon's Bay

I had really thought much about how my outfit looked like what Dorothy wears in The Wizard of Oz, but I googled it and there must have been some subconscious inspiration going on. I love how she said that it was like the Vogue version of Dorothy though.

I am actually obsessed with this jumpsuit. So much so that I bought it in the linen stripes and in chambray. I have yet to wear the chambray one.... but I am a little weird and when I love things I like to preserve their newness. I will have to cave an wear it eventually though or else there wasn't much point purchasing it.

When I purchased these I had no intention of layering a blouse underneath. However I saw a few bloggers doing it and I was instantly obsessed with how it really added an extra flare to such a basic piece. To take the linen outfit up a notch I added my metallic sandals and my favourite red bag.
