Taking a Slip Dress into Winter

I think I was having a major 90's moment the other day. I was a toddler during most of the 1990's but I seem to remember turtle necks and slip dresses being major trends. I originally found this dress on sail at H&M in the middle of the fall season and knew it would be a while till I could wear it again, but the unusual colour and ruffle detailing made it practically irresistible to me.

Once I got it home I began to think about what I usually do with some of my favourite summer dresses to transition them into the cooler months. I got the great idea to pair the dress with my black turtleneck and black booties like I do with most of my transition pieces.
